📺 TV Program Storage Mechanism

Digital Video Recording & Time-Shifted Viewing

The Vision

In 2002, while managing my PCO business and working at LIC India, I envisioned a mechanism to store TV programs for later viewing - essentially what we now know as DVR (Digital Video Recorder) technology and streaming services.

The frustration was simple: missing favorite shows due to work schedules. Why couldn't we record and watch programs at our convenience?

📍 Professional Context

Role: LIC India + PCO Business Owner (2000-2005)

Challenge: Busy work schedule conflicting with TV program timings

Insight: Need for time-shifted entertainment consumption
